The Petrosains Science Discovery Centre and its Energy Capsule ride runs on PIXILAB Blocks for driving displays and interactivity. Housed in the Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this high-tech science discovery centre is an educational interactive adventure, where visitors experience the fun and excitement of learning. The Energy Capsule ride is an 11-minute ride into the future, incorporating a new energy narrative designed to get visitors thinking about the next technological revolution in energy.
Visitors take selfies using their mobile devices, subsequently appearing as part of a "wall of fame". Pictures are also passed through a Panasonic FacePRO facial recognition system connected to Blocks for triggering personalized content at designated locations.
